And they lived happily ever after
Such a beautiful day at this wedding near Joplin, MO. The bride and groom seemed to be having such a good time together, it was great to see their big smiles. Congrats you guys!

Here are some photos of Jay’s senior photos! We braved the heat, and I am happy to say the photos turned out great! We had a fun time, and promptly went out for frozen yogurt afterwards!

Here are some photos from Hank and Hannah’s beautiful wedding! Enjoy!

I (Alisha) happened to go to a beautiful garden party this week and I took a few photos. Here are a few that I was using some new textures on. So vintage and perfect for spring! Enjoy!

Just wanted to say happy friday to everyone and hope you are enjoying beautiful spring weather wherever you are! And if you are not….then maybe you can make a trip to Texas in the near future, but for now check out a couple photos from a beautiful spring day. Here is Ms T having fun in the sun! Enjoy!

Look what we got in the mail last week! Two of our costumers ordered their gallery wraps! (The canvas’s came with their wedding package and they could pick their favorite photo) They both ordered them the same week, so it was fun to get them in the mail! They turned out so beautiful, and I think they are some of my favorite photos from their weddings too. I love the one of Chelsea and Rob, so casual with their horse, and the one of Steph and Colling laughing together shows the tenor of their wedding. I thought I would post a couple photos so you can see what they ordered. Also, if you are interested in ordering one of a family or an individual, they are available in a variety of sizes and depths. (These ones here are 5/8 inch, and you can get up to 1.5 inch) Hope you all are having a good Tuesday! Enjoy!

A week ago Ryan and I teamed up with some friends to show our support to a good friend Whitney. We did a “muscle walk” at the Cowboy’s Stadium to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). There was music, vendors, photos and lots of people there to donate and show their support of finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. We had a good time, and would encourage you to check out their website www.walk.mda.org to find a walk near you. Here are a bunch of photos of Whitney, friends and the super cool Cowboys Stadium. Enjoy!

We have been taking a small break from photos this winter, hence the lack of blogging.
We have been keeping busy with other things like working on our new/old house and traveling. We have been doing more art photography lately, instead of portraits, and if you want to check out some of that go to: www.summerwoodphoto.etsy.com. One of our favorite things is making vintage style photographs. I love the soft colors and the “old” feel. We have lots more coming to our etsy store, so please check back soon as well.
While we have not been shooting portraits, we have still been snapping photos and here are a few of a little fellow that hangs out near my kitchen window. With the snow and freezing temps we have been having I am very grateful for my warm, cozy house, and that I can take photos out the windows.
Hope you all are having a nice winter wherever you are!

I think his little face is so hilarious in this one!
